About

Strategic by nature. Hands-on by design.

Almonte Creative is an independent New York digital studio led by Eduardo Almonte. We work at the intersection of strategy, design, technology, communications, search, measurement, and the everyday realities of running a website.

Why the studio exists.

Organizations rarely experience their website as a project. They experience it as a steady stream of needs: a program has to go live, a donor cannot find something, the analytics look wrong, Google is showing old information, and someone just asked what an AI assistant says about you. Most teams learn to work around all of it. Almonte Creative was built on a different premise: the unfixed thing is fixable, and fixing it is steady, documented, repeatable work.

Eduardo Almonte

A New York web strategist, developer, and digital operator with more than a decade of experience building and running websites for cultural institutions, nonprofits, universities, businesses, and commercial real estate organizations. Along the way he has worked with organizations including the New York Botanical Garden, New York University, and longstanding local businesses. He founded Almonte Creative to bring those disciplines together.

An old-school belief about new technology.

The web is most useful when it gives people and organizations more agency. That principle matters even more in the age of AI. New technology should make good teams more capable, make information easier to find, remove unnecessary work, and expand what smaller organizations can accomplish. And the organizations using it should understand what they own and how it works.

Rooted in New York.

The studio grew out of work across New York's institutions, businesses, neighborhoods, and cultural organizations. That shapes the approach: practical, diverse, collaborative, comfortable crossing disciplines. Projects can be delivered in English and Spanish.

Small by design.

Almonte Creative is not a large agency in miniature. Eduardo remains directly involved in strategy and delivery. When a project needs additional expertise, we build a team around it from a trusted network of designers, developers, writers, photographers, and specialists. The structure changes. Accountability does not.

How we work: Listen first. Think before building. Make it well. Make it understandable. Leave people more capable. Keep improving.
